ICI Services Expands Engineering Support to NSWC Port Hueneme

Virginia Beach, VA - ICI Services Corporation announced today that it will provide additional engineering support services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division’s Land Attack Department as a member of a JSL Technologies Inc. team awarded a $63 million, five-year contract.
ICI Services will provide engineering, software engineering, shipboard engineering, and support for land-based facilities, test and evaluation, and equipment refurbishment. The effort supports Tomahawk Weapons Systems and All-Up Rounds; the Harpoon Ship Command Launch Control System; the Naval Fires Control System; Supporting Arms Coordination Center-Automation; Gun Weapons Systems; Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Systems, Fast Frigate Systems; LCS Mission Modules; DDG 1000 Combat Systems; Coast Guard National Security Cutter and Patrol Craft Combat Systems; and MK 51 MOD 0 Gun Weapon System Munitions (LRLAP).
The work will be performed within ICI Services’ Engineering Services Division led by Vice President and Division General Manager Ted Fredrick. JSL held the prior contract with ICI Services as a subcontractor.
NSWC Port Hueneme is the Navy’s In-Service Engineering Agent and Fleet Support Agent for surface ship combat and weapons systems, their launchers, canisters, associated equipment and the All Up Rounds they fire.
ICI Services provides significant support across several NSWC Port Hueneme departments. For the Air Dominance Department, the company provides combat systems modernization and logistics support; financial services support; and Weapons Systems Integration and Fleet Interface engineering services for a variety of surface ship weapons systems, including the Standard Missile, the surface launched Tomahawk Cruise Missile, the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile and their related launch systems and canisters. For the Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department, ICI Services provides Integrated Ship Defense engineering, software, information assurance and logistics support. For the Land and Sea Test Department, ICI Services provides Engineering and Technical Support Services for the White Sands Missile Range, including planning, preparation, execution, launch operations and post-test support for a wide variety of missiles and launch systems.
