ICI Services Awarded Third Straight Pacific Fleet Contract
May 11, 2017
Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services announced today that the company was again selected to continue providing the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Surface Fleet a full range of travel and accounting support. ICI Services has been providing complete travel support for the Fleet’s 92 ships and 58 staffs and shore activities since 2011 under two previous prime contracts, and the company teamed as a subcontractor to Kros-Wise, Inc., when the contract was set aside for woman-owned small businesses.
“We have worked with Kros-Wise on other efforts and knew that they had the right expertise to lead this contract renewal,” CEO Jay Harrison said. “I congratulate Kros-Wise on this contract award and look forward to our companies meeting the Navy’s travel and accounting needs.”
Each year, the Pacific Surface Fleet generates about 22,000 travel orders. ICI Services support will continue to include coordination of worldwide transportation and accommodation requirements, financial management and accounting and assistance with administration of the Defense Travel System.
The work is being performed at Naval Base San Diego and Naval Base Coronado in California, and falls within ICI Services’ Management Systems Division under Vice President and Division General Manager Rich Miner.
