ICI Services Continues Key Ship Self Defense Services

Virginia Beach, VA - ICI Services Corporation announced today that it will continue providing Integrated Ship Defense engineering, software, information assurance and integrated logistics support services to the Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department (S-Department) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Port Hueneme, CA, as part of a JSL Technologies Inc. team awarded a five-year, $85.9 million contract.
ICI Services held the previous prime contract providing these services and teamed with JSL when it was set aside for small business concerns. The work falls under ICI Services’ Engineering Services Division led by Vice President and Division General Manager Ted Fredrick.
NSWC Port Hueneme is the designated In-Service Engineering Agent for the Ship Self Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Systems, which include command and control systems, radars, high energy lasers, interior communications systems, missile systems and close-in weapons systems.
ICI Services personnel on this contract perform systems test and evaluation; technical training; combat systems support; software engineering, development, modeling and simulation; information assurance; and integrated logistics. Work locations include Port Hueneme and San Diego, CA; Wallops Island and Norfolk, VA; several Navy facilities nation-wide; and onboard a broad range of ship types.
