ICI Services to Provide BFM Support to PEO IWS

Virginia Beach – ICI Services Corporation announced today that it is part of the Tech-Marine Business Inc. (TMB) Team that was awarded a $107.3 million, five-year contract to provide Business and Financial Management Support Services to the U.S. Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS).
PEO IWS is responsible for surface ship and submarine combat systems, radars, electronic warfare, and gun systems and missiles, except the Trident ballistic and Tomahawk cruise missiles, and missile launchers, other than the Trident launchers. It integrates the software programs for combat systems on all ships and submarines, and coordinates antisubmarine warfare area projects across the other PEOs. In addition, it oversees the construction and purchase of new integrated warfare systems.
In a post-contract award meeting, TMB President Tom Dority said: “ICI Services brings unique capabilities to the PEO IWS contract. Few companies can match the breadth of financial services that ICI Services brings.”
TMB and ICI Services will provide the full range of Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) support necessary for PEO IWS’s contributions to the President’s Budget and Congressionally-enacted defense appropriations bills. This includes researching and developing budgets and processes; providing detailed reports on the financial status of programs; tracking Congressional budget deliberations; supporting statutory and regulatory financial reporting; preparing budget exhibits; maintaining records; supporting cost estimates; conducting business case analyses; preparing cost trade off analyses; developing and reviewing future-year financial programs and spending plans; tracking commitments, obligations and expenditures across the PEO IWS portfolio; and supporting Earned Value Management assessments.
Support will extend across all of PEO IWS, including its nine Directorates: PEO IWS 1.0, the Aegis and Aegis Fleet Readiness Program Office; PEO IWS 2.0, the Above Water Sensors Program Office; PEO IWS 3.0, the Surface Ship Weapons Program Office; PEO IWS 4.0, the International and Foreign Military Sales Program Office; PEO IWS 5.0, the Undersea Systems Program Office; PEO IWS 6.0, the Command and Control Program Office; PEO IWS 7.0, the Future Combat Systems and Human Systems Integration Program Office; PWS 9.0, the DDG 1000, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), US Coast Guard and Coastal Patrol Program Office and PEO IWS 10.0, the Ship Self Defense System Program Office.
