ICI Services to Support Submarine and LCS Maintenance and Modernization

Virginia Beach – ICI Services Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a $41 million, three year prime contract to support the Naval Sea System Command’s Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) independent field activity. The work will be performed within ICI Services’ Technical Services Division headed by Kevin Lees. David Herbein, a former SUBMEPP Commanding Officer, is ICI Services’ Program Manager for the contract.

SUBMEPP is charged with keeping submarines and certain surface craft, such as Littoral Combat Ships (LCS), safe, reliable and affordable through life cycle maintenance and modernization products and services.

ICI Services will be providing engineering, logistics and program management support associated with life cycle maintenance, modernization and modification of Navy submarines, ships, unique platforms, new construction units and support facilities. Dell Federal Services Government is ICI Services’ subcontractor on this effort.

Work will be performed at ICI Services facilities in Dover, New Hampshire; at the SUBMEPP headquarters on the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard; at the Washington Navy Yard in the District of Columbia; and on site at Naval Submarine bases in Groton, Connecticut; Norfolk, Virginia; and with the LCS Squadron in San Diego California.
