ICI Services to Provide SONAR Systems Engineering

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation announced today the award of a contract to provide SONAR Systems Engineering, Test and Evaluation, and Life Cycle Services to Code 15, the Sensors and SONAR Systems Department at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport. ICI Services is a member of the MIKEL Inc. team awarded a $27 million, 5-year SONAR Systems support contract by NUWC Newport.
Contract performance requirements include Systems, Software and Hardware Engineering; System Installation; Test Evaluation and Analysis; Information Assurance; In-Service Engineering, Maintenance and Logistics; and Fleet Help Desk and Laboratory Documentation support for a variety of sensor, SONAR and Mine Detection systems.
The contract will be performed within ICI Service’s Management Systems Division, headed by Vice President Rich Miner. The Division is currently providing engineering, logistics and information technology support on five prime contracts and two other subcontracts at NUWC Newport.
