Del Pritchard Promoted to Gulf Coast Operations Manager

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services announced today that Delton Pritchard has been promoted to Gulf Coast Operations Center Manager responsible for work performed in Pascagoula, Moss Point and Gulfport, Mississippi; New Orleans, Morgan City and Houma, Louisiana; and Mobile, Alabama.
In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Pritchard will continue serving as ICI Services’ Program Director in charge of the corporation’s contract providing engineering, testing, technical data management, information technology and logistics services to the Navy’s Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion & Repair - Gulf Coast.
Mr. Pritchard, who works at ICI Services’ office in Pascagoula, Mississippi, has 39 years of shipbuilding and naval engineering experience, including 14 years of engineering and production services in support of Navy ship construction programs in Gulf Coast shipyards. Before joining ICI Services in 2011, he served as the project management leader and principal on-site representative for Computer Sciences Corporation’s work on the Littoral Combat Ship Suitability Review. He also was extensively involved with the LHD/LHA and LPD shipbuilding programs.
Mr. Pritchard has a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Post Graduate School and served more than 25 years as a US Navy Engineering Duty Officer. He helped establish the planning department at the Naval Intermediate Planning Facility at Pearl Harbor that became a template for such commands and received the Meritorious Service Medal for exceptional performance as Operations Officer and Production Resources Officer at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard.
