ICI Services Supports NSWC Crane Electronic Warfare

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services announced today that it will continue to be part of a URS Federal Technical Services Inc. (URS) team supporting design and upgrades for the Navy’s Electronic Warfare (EW) systems at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane. ICI Services has been a subcontractor to URS at NSWC Crane since 2010.
NSWC Crane selected the incumbent URS team for another three-year contract for research and development for new EW systems, as well as support for the electronic detection, guidance, surveillance, protection and attack systems already in the field.
Engineering support includes hardware, software and tactics development, simulation and prototyping for EW systems on aircraft and current and future ships as well as for ground-based systems used to counter Improvised Explosive Devices. It also involves Cyber Warfare modeling, simulation and testing, and the analysis, testing and evaluation of Directed Energy systems to augment traditional Electronic Warfare systems. Other efforts under the contract include providing technical support, such as training, document development, maintenance planning, integrated logistics, supply and provisioning.
