ICI Opens Wallops Island Office

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation today announced the opening of a new office at 33073 Chincoteague Road on Wallops Island, VA, to support land-based testing for the Navy’s Ship Self Defense System.
The testing is part of a $35.6 million prime contract providing engineering, software, information assurance and integrated logistics support to the Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department (S-Department) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Port Hueneme, California.
NSWC Port Hueneme is the designated In-Service Engineering Agent for the Ship Self Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Systems, which include command and control systems, radars, high energy lasers, interior communications systems, missile systems and close-in weapons systems.
