ICI to Continue Homeland Security Infrastructure Support

November 25, 2013

Virginia Beach, VA  – ICI Services Corporation announced today the award of a follow-on contract for services in support of the National Data Center of the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection Agency.  Originally awarded the prime contract in 2007, ICI Services is now a subcontractor to Technica LLC and will continue to provide a broad range of facilities management, warehousing, inventory operations and transportation services in Northern Virginia and Orlando, Florida, in support of 2,000 CBP workers.

The contract had been set aside for small businesses, and ICI Services was not able to prime the follow-on contract. As such, ICI Services subcontracted to Technica, an exceptionally well-qualified small business based in Charleston, SC, to continue to provide the important infrastructure support services DHS requires.  The value of ICI Services’ five-year subcontract will exceed $4.2 million when all options are exercised.

ICI Services is a mid-sized professional services company headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. The corporation’s 500 employees provide engineering, test and evaluation, logistics, information technology, environmental, range and program support services to the United States Navy, Army and Department of Homeland Security nationwide from over 48 locations in 22 states and the District of Columbia.
