Kevin Lees Joins ICI Services

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation announced today that Kevin Lees has joined the corporation as a Vice President and General Manager of the Technical Services Division. The Division contains four Operations Centers that are responsible for performance of work supporting the US Army, National Guard, and Department of Homeland Security, as well as contracts at Naval Surface Weapons Centers in Dahlgren, VA, and Crane, IN, and other Naval Sea Systems Command sites.
Mr. Lees, who has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, brings more than a dozen years of executive management experience as well as a distinguished 22 year Navy career.
Mr. Lees was Senior Vice President of McKean Defense Group responsible for all NAVSEA warfare center work in Philadelphia, Crane and Carderock. At Alion Science and Technology, he was a Group Senior Vice President, leading a worldwide work force. He also previously served at Anteon Corporation as the Systems Engineering and Information Technologies Group Vice President and the Engineering, Lifecycle and Acquisition Division Manager/Vice President.
Mr. Lees retired from the Navy in 1999 as a Commander. His military career included service with the Program Executive Office Theater Air Defense and Surface Combatants, where he budgeted and planned the modernization of more than one third the U.S. Navy Fleet. He served as the Program Managers Representative in Pascagoula, MS, for the Aegis TICONDEROGA Class Cruiser Program, where he ensured builders’ compliance with more than $4.5 billion in contracts for the DoD’s second largest acquisition program. In addition to various Engineering Duty Officer assignments, Mr. Lees also served as assistant professor of Naval Science at Oregon State University responsible for Celestial Navigation, Piloting and Ship Operations curriculum and as Operations Intelligence Division Officer on the USS CHICAGO (CG 11).
