Karen Teets Promoted to Vice President

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services announced today that Karen Teets has been promoted to vice president. She will lead a newly created organization supporting Strategic and Theater Sealift, Amphibious Warfare, and Support Ships, Boats and Craft Program Offices, as well as multiple Naval Sea Systems Command contracts for technical services that span Aircraft Carriers to the Littoral Combat Ship to the new Zumwalt Class destroyer.

“Karen is an excellent example of how ICI Services fosters the development of our employees and assigns them to positions of increased scope and responsibility,” said ICI Services Chief Operating Officer Mike Denny. “Karen is an outstanding engineer and manager. We are pleased to be able to have her take on this new role.”

Ms Teets, an engineering graduate of Marquette University, joined ICI Services in 1999 as a senior analyst, later becoming a Senior Engineer and then Program Manager for ship-acquisition programs. She is Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III accredited and Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
