Rich Miner named Vice President

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation announced today that Rich Miner has been promoted to vice president. He will lead a newly structured organization supporting operations at the Naval Undersea Warfare Centers (NUWC) Newport and Keyport. Additionally, Mr. Miner is responsible for contract efforts that support a number of Navy fleet programmatic requirements, including the Defense Travel System and operations at several bases.
Mr. Miner, who spent more than 18 years working at NUWC Newport as a government employee or contractor, joined ICI Services in 2008 as the Operations Center Manager responsible for the corporation’s Northeast operations. During his tenure, he has significantly contributed to ICI Services’ growth in Rhode Island to nearly 60 employees providing support to the Navy’s premier undersea research center.
“In addition to his work at NUWC Newport, Rich’s business acumen has been a key factor in our contract awards at NSWC Corona and NUWC Keyport,” said ICI Services President Jay Harrison. “He understands customer requirements and helps us structure our offerings. His promotion is well deserved. Rich is customer-centric, which is key to our corporation’s performance philosophy.”
Mr. Miner has a degree in finance from Bryant University, an MBA from Northeastern University and PM Level II Certification from the US Naval War College. He and wife Kristen live in Newport with daughters Jordan, 11 and Addyson, 9.
