ICI Services to Provide NSWC Crane with Electronic Warfare Systems Support

ICI Services Corporation announced today it will provide Electronic Warfare (EW) systems technical support to the Spectrum Warfare Department at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, Crane, Indiana. ICI Services is a subcontractor to URS Corporation in a two-year effort to research, design, develop, acquire, produce prototypes and provide life-cycle support for Navy EW systems.
ICI Services will support on development and upgrade of fielded systems, including all surface shipboard electronic detection and guidance devices including electronic surveillance measures (ESM), electronic protection (EP), electronic countermeasures (ECM) and electronic attack (EA). Near-term focus will be on AN/SLQ-32 block improvements via Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP). SEWIP is a spiral-development upgrade and replacement program for the AN/SLQ-32 EW system aboard several classes of Navy combatant ships.
