ICI Services Employees Receive National Environmental Accolades

Two ICI Services Corporation employees from the Yakima Training Center (YTC), Yakima, Washington, received environmental support accolades this summer at the 1st Training Support Systems (TSS) Conference in Chicago, held August 16-20. The conference, “Forging the Integrated Training Environment (ITE),” focused on providing technical training and programmatic updates.
Jennifer Evans was recognized by the US Army Environmental Command for outstanding management of YTC’s Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) program for the successful execution of a large, multi-faceted erosion control project. Sally Jones, YTC’s Integrated Training Area Management program coordinator, was recognized for her contributions to the Range Safety program by providing GIS support during the development of the YTC Range Complex Master Plan and SDZ Deviations.
In addition to receiving awards, Ms. Evans presented a briefing and an informational poster on Incorporating LiDAR and Spatial Analysis Tools to Identify Future LRAM Projects. Ms. Jones also presented a technical brief, SRP GIS Support in Range Deviation Development, Yakima Training Center, WA. Another ICI employee, Dawn-Marie Jensen, Range and Training Land Assessment (RTLA) coordinator, presented a briefing and an informational poster, Bridging the Gap: Presenting RTLA Data to a Diverse Audience. ICI Services employee Tessa Brookman, Army Sustainable Range Program (SRP) GIS coordinator, also participated in the conference.
