Captain Weekes Joins ICI Services Corporation

Virginia Beach – ICI Services Corporation announced today that Godfrey “Gus” Weekes has joined the company as Vice President and Division General Manager. Mr. Weekes will lead ICI’s efforts providing Naval Sea Surface Command and Warfare Center customers with Engineering and Sustainment support for Surface Ships, Submarines, Unmanned Platforms and Payloads.

Mr. Weekes, a recently retired Navy Captain, brings over three decades of in-service engineering and sustainment experience to ICI. He retired from active-duty Naval service as Major Program Manager for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Mission Module Program Office, PMS 420. He also served as the Commanding Officer of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren and as head of the Air Dominance and Land Attack Departments at NSWC Port Hueneme. Mr. Weekes served as a systems engineer with the Naval Information Assurance Center, Atlantic and as the deputy Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Readiness Officer for the Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic (COMNAVSURFLANT). His operational experience includes tours on the amphibious assault ship USS KEARSARGE (LHD 3) and the replenishment oiler USNS JOHN LENTHALL (T-AO 189).

Captain Weekes earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Post Graduate School and a BS in Mathematics from Savannah State University.
