ICI Services to Continue Submarine Maintenance and Modernization Support

December 21, 2019

Virginia Beach – ICI Services Corporation announced today that it will continue to support the Naval Sea System Command’s Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) independent field activity as a subcontractor to Patrona Corporation.

ICI Services has held the prime, small business set-aside contract supporting SUBMEPP since September, 2014. Since ICI Services had graduated to a large business, the company chose to join Patrona on the follow-on, $58 million, 5-year, small-business procurement.

SUBMEPP is charged with keeping submarines and Littoral Combat Shps safe, reliable and affordable through the provision of life cycle maintenance and modernization products and services.

With this award, ICI Services will continue providing engineering, logistics and program management support associated with life cycle logistics, modernization and modification of Navy submarines, ships, unique platforms, new construction units and support facilities.

This work resides in ICI’s Fleet Services Division, led by Vice President and Division General Manager John McGrath. The contract work will be performed at our contractor facility in Dover NH; at the SUBMEPP headquarters on the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery ME; and at U.S. Navy submarine bases in New London CT, Norfolk VA and San Diego CA.

Headquartered in Virginia Beach VA, ICI Services is an ISO 9001:2015-certified, employee-owned company formed in 1999 with the objective of providing quality and responsive professional services aligned to customers’ program support requirements. The company is achieving its vision and, today, the corporation’s 400 employees provide systems engineering and integration, test and evaluation, acquisition and life cycle logistics, information technology, and program support services nationwide to the United States Navy and Department of Homeland Security.
