Ned Sheedy to Lead Systems Engineering Division

Virginia Beach, VA - ICI Services Corporation announced today that Ned Sheedy has been promoted to Vice President and named Division General Manager of the Systems Engineering Division. In this position, Mr. Sheedy reports to ICI Services’ President Scott Gray and is responsible for contract performance and profitable growth of an organization whose Navy support services span all three coasts.

The division has three Operations Centers that are responsible for the performance of the company’s prime contracts supporting the Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Surface Combatants (PEO USC); the LPD 17 Program Office (PMS 317); the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Gulf Coast (SSGC); and NSWC Philadelphia Code 336. Additionally, the division provides engineering support for the Surface Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) and logistics support for the Department of Homeland Security'sTransportation Security Administration and Customs and Border Protection.
Mr. Sheedy joined the company in September 2017 to serve as the Systems Engineering Division’s Technical Director and Test and Evaluation Lead. Prior to ICI Services, Mr. Sheedy had spent the previous 18 years at Alion Science and Technology, where he rose to Assistant Vice President and Division Manager leading the Assault Craft Division.
At Alion, he also served as Task Lead to a 100-person LCAC/LCU Support team in PMS 377; as Program Manager for support to PMS 385, the Strategic and Theater Sealift Program Office; and as Deputy Program Manager for PMS 501, the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Program Office. During his tenure at Alion, Mr. Sheedy supported numerous other shipbuilding programs, including DDG 1000, Cruiser Conversion, LPD 17 and the Ship to Shore Connector.
Mr. Sheedy earned his Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Philosophy at State University of New York at Binghamton. He is a Certified Project Management Professional. He and his family reside in Dumfries, VA.
