ICI Services to Provide Presidential Helicopter Support

Virginia Beach, VA - ICI Services Corporation announced today that it will provide program management and acquisition support services to NAVAIR PMA-274, the Presidential Helicopter Program, as part of a team led by Precise Systems Inc. The work will be performed within ICI Services’ Engineering Services Division led by Vice President and Division General Manager Ted Fredrick. Division personnel have performed engineering, logistics and acquisition services under prime contracts and subcontracts for NAWCAD Patuxent River, NAWCWD China Lake, NAWCWD Point Mugu and NAVAIR Headquarters.
The $25.7 million, five-year contract involves program management, acquisition, access control, engineering and life-cycle support for the current Presidential Helicopter fleet and the development and sustainment of its replacements.
PMA-274, based at the Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD, provides secure transportation for the President, Vice President and heads of states using VH-3D and VH-60N helicopters. They are to be replaced by the VH-92A helicopter. The work will be performed at NAS Patuxent River and the Pentagon.
