ICI to Support NSWC Philadelphia Engineering, Design and Testing

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation announced today that it is a member of an R&P Technologies team selected to provide Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia with critical and urgent engineering, technical and project management support for design, modification and testing of various power and control systems on US Navy surface combatant, expeditionary and amphibious ships, US Coast Guard and Military Sealift Command vessels and Foreign Naval program initiatives.

This support will include design development, review and comment; system root cause analysis and troubleshooting; system and equipment production quality assurance; and system and equipment test development, witness, inspection and grooming.

Systems supported will include electric power; magnetic signature control; main and auxiliary machinery; integrated bridge; and associated controls, fluid, mechanical and automation for surface combatants, expeditionary and amphibious class ships.

Work on this four-year contract will be performed at the Washington Naval Shipyard in DC; at NSWC Carderock Division Program field offices and aboard ships at Norfolk VA; San Diego CA; Marinette WI; and Mobile AL, as well as at Kings Bay GA; Pascagoula MS; Ingleside TX; Bath ME; Everett and Bremerton WA and Pearl Harbor HI.
