ICI Services to Provide NUWC Newport Logistics Services

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation announced today that it is a member of a Gateway Ventures Inc. (GVI) Team chosen to provide centralized Inventory Management and Warehouse Management services for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport and its detachments.
The team will initially operate NUWC Newport Code 10 managed warehouses in Buildings 4 and 47 and quickly expand to a wide range of inventory control for NUWC Newport, its detachments and contractor facilities. Performance locations include Groton, New London and Niantic, CT; Northampton and Woods Hole, MA; Dresden and Fishers Island, NY; Manassas, Williamsburg, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Newport News, VA; Kings Bay, GA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Bangor, Bremerton, Keyport and Seattle, WA; Sylmar, Port Hueneme and San Diego, CA; Mayport, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach and Okahumpka, FL; Kittery, ME; Portsmouth, NH; Santa Rita, Guam; and Andros Island, The Bahamas.
The effort falls within ICI Services’ Management Systems Division, led by Vice President and Division General Manager Richard Miner. This ICI Services’ division provides NUWC Newport a broad range of services under five prime contracts and multiple subcontracts. This includes base-wide Human Capital Management Department (Code 118) and Corporate Operations (Code 11) support, as well as facility operations, test and evaluation, facility hardware and software maintenance, and logistics support to the Undersea Warfare Weapons, Vehicles and Defensive Systems Department (Code 85); the Sensors and Sonar Systems Department (Code 15); and the Electromagnetic Systems Department (Code 34).
