Defense Logistics Agency Awards ICI Services Aviation Support Contract

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a $16.2 million, two year prime contract to support the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation (DLA AVN) Industrial Support Activity. The ICI Services Team, which includes subcontractors Epsilon Systems Solutions, J.K. Hill & Associates and ProLog, Inc., will provide a full-range of lifecycle and logistics support to the Air Force Logistics Centers at Warner Robins, GA; Ogden, UT; and Oklahoma City, OK; and the Navy Fleet Readiness Center in San Diego, CA.
ICI Services Team efforts will include inventory control, financial reconciliation, data analysis, records upkeep, scheduling, warehousing, hazardous material management, transportation, material expediting, and long-range lifecycle planning, product testing, inspection and maintenance. The ICI Services Team anticipates hiring 135 personnel across the performance locations.
Work will be performed in ICI Services’ Technical Services Division, which is led by Vice President and Division Manager Kevin Lees. “This contract is a great addition to the Technical Services Division’s portfolio of Army, Homeland Security and Navy logistics services, including logistics support for NAVAIR,” said ICI COO Mike Denny. “Kevin has the right leadership and capabilities within his organization to ensure DLA receives top-notch support.”
DLA AVN manages 440,000 Navy Aviation and Air Force items for 1,400 major weapons systems. It contracts nearly $4 billion annually to provide more than 1.3 million repair parts and operating supply items.
