Delton Pritchard Leads Gulf Coast Operations

Virginia Beach, VA –– ICI Services announced today that Delton Pritchard has been hired to lead the corporation’s expanding Gulf Coast operations.  ICI Services supports several ship classes being constructed on the Gulf Coast, including LCS, DDG 51, LHA, LPD and several auxiliary vessels and patrol craft for allied nations.  Most recently, ICI Services opened an office in Gautier, Mississippi.

Mr. Pritchard has 37 years of shipbuilding and naval engineering experience, including 11 years’ performing engineering and production services in support of Navy ship construction programs in Gulf Coast shipyards.  Before joining ICI Services, he served as the project management leader and principal on-site representative for Computer Sciences Corporation’s work on the Littoral Combat Ship Suitability Review. He also was extensively involved with the LHD/LHA and LPD shipbuilding programs.  

Mr. Pritchard has a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Post Graduate School and served more than 25 years as a US Navy Engineering Duty Officer. He helped establish the planning department at the Naval Intermediate Planning Facility at Pearl Harbor that became a template for such commands and received the Meritorious Service Medal for exceptional performance as Operations Officer and Production Resources Officer at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard.
