Pentagon Force Protection Agency Awards ICI Services $8.2 Million Contract

ICI Services Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a five-year, $8.2 million contract to support the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) in Arlington, Virginia

 

Under the previous and current contract, ICI Services uses specialized equipment in an environmentally secure facility to detect the presence of suspicious or bio-threat material in the mail and commercial parcels.  On a daily basis, ICI Services screens an average of 7,000 letters and 275 parcels. ICI Services has supported PFPA since 2005.

 

ICI Services provides engineering, test and evaluation, logistics, environmental, range and program support services to the United States Navy and Army, as well as the US Department of Homeland Security. ICI Services is an 8(a) certified Small Disadvantaged and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned business founded in 1999. The company, headquartered in Virginia Beach, employs more than 350 people in 18 states.
