Atlantic and Pacific Surface Fleet Commands Award ICI Services Support Contract

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation will provide travel support to the Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Pacific Fleet and Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Atlantic Fleet under an $8.6 million, 5-year contract awarded today by the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center in San Diego, California. 

 

Services will include coordination of worldwide transportation and accommodation requirements, financial management and accounting support, and assistance with Defense Travel System administration.  Over 35,000 travel orders are generated annually by the two surface fleet and shore activities.  CACI International, Inc., a leading provider of Department of Defense travel support and training, is ICI Services’ subcontractor on this effort.

 

Work will be performed at Naval Base San Diego for the Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Pacific Fleet, which includes 92 ships and 41 shore activities in San Diego; Everett and Bremerton, Washington; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan; and in Bahrain.

The Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Atlantic Fleet, which includes 81 ships and 29 shore activities in Norfolk, Virginia, and Mayport, Florida, will be supported from facilities at Naval Base Norfolk.
