ICI Services to Support PEO IWS 3.0

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation announced today that it has been selected to provide technical and program management support services to the Major Program Manager, Surface Ship Weapons (PEO IWS 3.0.) as a subcontractor on a 5-year, $85.2 million contract award to Alion Science and Technology Corporation.

ICI Services will provide engineering, technical and program planning services for the Standard Missile, Close-in Weapons System and the Vertical Launch System Program Offices, as well as for the offices that manage the Rolling Airframe Missile, Naval Gunnery and NATO Sea Sparrow Missile Programs. The work will be performed in Washington, D.C.

“We are very proud to be selected by Alion and PEO IWS 3.0 to be part of these important Navy programs,” ICI Services Chief Operating Officer Mike Denny said at the corporation’s recent Quarterly Managers’ Meeting. “Our management team has prepared for a very robust contract start-up. Our employees are ready to take on their new assignments, and every requirement will be immediately addressed.”

ICI Services has been supporting PEO IWS 3C, the Naval Gunnery Office, as a subcontractor to Alion since 2007. “This new contract validates the outstanding services we have provided PEO IWS 3.0,” said Operations Center Manager C.J. Adams. “Sal Weaver will do an excellent job as our Project Manager. He has been with ICI Services for over five years and previously led systems test and engineering management services for our Missile Defense Agency efforts.”
