NUWC Division Newport Awards ICI Services Human Resources and IT Support Contract

ICI Services Corporation announced that it has been awarded a $10.2 million contract by Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport to provide Human Resources and Information Technology support. On this five-year contract, ICI Services will support NUWC Division Newport’s Human Capital Management Department with a broad range of services such as Information Technology, Labor and Employee relations, Training, Recruiting, EEO/Diversity, and Workforce Management.
Contract performance will be led by Rich Miner, ICI Services’ Operations Center Manager for Northeast Operations. Mr. Miner worked for NUWC Newport Division in various positions for 10 years, spending another five years in a contractor support role. His diverse and extensive experience provides ICI Services with a keen understanding of the customer organization, their policies and procedures.
ICI Services’ Chief Operating Officer Michael Denny says the company is ready to provide “quality, value-added support” to NUWC Division Newport. Plus, “Rich’s familiarity with the Human Capital Management Department and its requirements will enable ICI Services to quickly assume an integral role.”
